My husband and I have different ways of doing things. For the most part, it works out pretty well. Occasionally, it causes issues, but this time, it's working out great. I informed Hubs, demanded actually, that I needed more help with homeschooling all three kids for the second year in a row. I'm great at finding the fun things for them to do and learn, but I need help with the follow through in making sure they happen.
Thus, I have Hubs doing the first few weeks of art and music class. Here we are on a Friday night. I'm writing and watching Hulu, while the minis and Hubs build the Lego world map. They had to discuss the patterns they were going to use beforehand. The first hour of class was spent going over options and watching YouTube tutorials.
It was pretty calm until the building began. Now I'm hearing All American Rejects, Hootie and the Blowfish, and other 90's band blaring from the Echo. When I went down to get a bottle of water, I overheard Hubs explaining the Hootie and the Blowfish drama that caused them to break up circa 2008. I have to laugh that THIS is music class for them.
I can't say that I didn't turn my TV off and request them to turn the music up.
