Hi! I'm Ashlen, but you can also find me under the names Mom, Mommy, Wife, and Miss Ashley. I am a full-time in-home daycare provider and a children's book author. This is my lovely little side project to share our lives with you and make this parenting adventure a little easier. I live in Des Moines, Iowa with my husband, 3 minis, and 2 friendly felines. When I'm not busy changing diapers and coming up with our latest sensory activity, you can find me exploring our great state, taking mini vacations with the minis, enjoying all Des Moines has to offer, shopping, hiking, and writing. I never thought this is what I would be doing with my life, but it couldn't be any more perfect!

Hey there! I’m Lauren, a consultant/photographer/blogger/DIYer living in central Iowa with my sweet husband, amazing bonus-daughter, new baby boy, and three spoiled dogs. I work full-time corporate training and own a photography business, specializing in family and wedding photography. I’m eager to blog about our household, photography, personal finance/budgeting, and my experiences supporting a partner who is co-parenting while raising a newborn. When I’m not working or shooting/editing photos, I enjoy spending time on DIY projects around our home, traveling, and grilling out in our backyard.
