Valentine Parent Presents

I am seriously slacking when it comes to the cutesy holiday gifts, or even just the cutesy art projects, from the littles to their parents. I'm much less focused on process art and more focused on letting the kids color or create whatever they want with art supplies. I'd like to say it's because the group of kids I have enjoy that more (which they do...what kid doesn't love being told they can go crazy with glue and glitter??), but honestly it's because I just don't have the capacity to think about it. I'm mentally pushed to the limit.

Which is likely why I decided last night at 8 p.m. what our Valentine's Day parent presents would be. Thankfully, I have a healthy dose of art supplies on hand at any given time. Sadly, I did not have enough medium sized canvases because this would have looked great on a canvas. Anways, I had fun talking with the kids for part of their present, the hand print was simple, and the bigs helped me assemble them during nap/rest times for the littles.

This is my absolute favorite. "No more. I'm done." Basically saying, leave me alone, I want to go back to playing!

I finally got around to doing a couple of littles Christmas gifts to their parents, since they missed daycare in December (thanks Covid). I'm clearly incredibly organized over here.

I think they turned out pretty cute and brought a smile to the parent's faces.
