I'm always on the look out for things to do with the kids and I'm so happy with how this project turned out! Simple, easy, and cute! I got the idea while going through cookie cutters at the beginning of the week and decided to give it a try on this perfectly fall morning.
The only downfall to this activity is it required constant help from me. The kids I had were three years old and younger and none of them quite understood how to put the cookie cutter into the paint so it looked like a piece of candy corn. It took some time, but I helped each child individually and then followed it up with a treat of candy corn. The kids really enjoyed seeing the "candy" on their papers! I love seeing the kids make the connection! Fun activity that we'll definitely be doing every fall.
