At the Science Center on St. Patrick's Day in 2014.
Welcome to our weekly Thursday morning post about what's going on in the Des Moines, Iowa area. We'll share what we'll be doing, great finds, restaurants to eat at, shops to drop some cash at, and just all the great things Des Moines has to offer families.
What We're Doing:
- Science Center. My oldest's main goal is to get on the noon news.
- Children's Museum in Coralville Mall. We've been here before and had a blast! Wish me luck because I'm making the trip by myself with the minis!
- Up for debate. Ideally we'd like to go hiking somewhere new, but the weather may not cooperate. In that case we'll maybe try out indoor mini golf.
Other Happenings:
- Boys State High School Basketball at Wells Fargo Arena
- St. Patrick's Day Family Glow Bowling Party (Warrior Lanes)
- Iowa Historical Museum
- Zootopia. If you have yet to see this, do it! Our whole family enjoyed it.
- Pie Face game. Play this game with your kids, you'll all enjoy it I promise!
