When Good Things Go Wrong...

Tomorrow we're celebrating a daycare child's 4th birthday. After giving her choices for her treats, she settled on strawberry cupcakes. So tonight I set about making strawberry cupcakes. I had it all planned out: strawberry cake mix, put chopped strawberries in the batter, bake, frost with creamy vanilla frosting, topped with a strawberry. The kids can have their yummy sugar and a serving of fruit too.

I was so excited. First batch of cupcakes turned out wonderful and smelling delicious. Second batch turned out like this:

Nipple cupcakes. I made an almost 4 year old nipple cupcakes. At least they smell delicious. I'm sure to be voted Daycare Provider of the Year with these strawberry nipple cupcakes (fyi-sarcasm. Totally joking for all of you gasping that I even typed that).

So, what do I plan to do??? I'm covering these suckers in large amounts of frosting and praying no child eats only the frosting off of the cupcake.

Yep, Daycare Provider of the Year here I come with my covered up strawberry nipple cupcakes in tow.
