So even though we spent our Sunday doing pretty much nothing, I still wasn't as prepared as I like to be for Monday mornings. I typically have all of the daycare activities and projects laid out on the table, separated by day and into morning and afternoon activities. Maybe it was a combination of not having everything completely laid out for me or it could have been that the kids didn't want to have anything to do with any kind of planned activity (they were having fun playing together so it wasn't too big of a deal), but I found myself looking for something quick, fun, easy, and using paint. That's when I remembered the stack of leaves Max had gathered from the front yard to keep around for our fall projects.
Combine paints and leaves and you get: leaf painting. Simple, fun, slightly messy, easy to throw together, and goes perfectly with our fall activities theme. Great for a quick morning activity!
