Apple Snow

The pumpkin snow was such a hit (http://ashlen-kidspert.blogspot.com/2014/09/pumpkin-snow.html) that we tried out Apple Snow. It's made the same way as the Pumpkin Snow, but instead of adding pumpkin spice, add in Tones Apple Spice.

The kids had a blast and my kitchen smelled amazingly apple-y all afternoon!

The Apple Snow didn't turn out as red as I would have liked.

The kids used pans, cookie sheets, muffin tins, and plastic play apples to play with.
We temporarily took the plastic apples out of the fall sensory bin. The kids kindly reminded me to clean off the apples and put them back when they were done playing.

They made "apple cakes" with the Apple Snow and had their ovens under the tables.

These activities always bring out the kid's creativity and kept them playing for hours! This does create a mess, but it's an easy clean up (just ask the hubs who's the lucky kitchen cleaner at night).
