I'm so ready for winter to be over. Our yard is completely melted. I was so excited to see the brown grass underneath all those inches upon inches of snow. Ready for spring to be sprung free. Then I remembered....
MUD.
Mud everywhere....and not just outside in my backyard. On my floors, in my carpet, in hair, on the wall. I pulled my pants down to pee (in the bathroom, just for clarification) after outside time and I found mud on my inner thigh. I was wearing pants. I can't explain that one. How does that even happen???
I've embraced mud. We're the house with the mud kitchen in our backyard, so it's not like I have a huge problem with mud. But somewhere between the first snowfall and the big melt at the end of winter, I forget about it. I forget how many times our bathroom sink and bath tub have been clogged with mud. Or how much extra cleaning I do when mud is involved.
Well, back to play in my swamp...I mean backyard. There's mud to clean out of a child's ear.
