Week In Review: February 23 - 27

It was a VERY off week for the kiddos. Luckily, the kids got along just fine, but unfortunately had no interest in any activities (minus our "Pete The Cat" Day). Here's a brief look at a few of the things I got the kids to take part in:

The kids were treated to Mickey Mouse waffles (made by the Hubs). I found a great deal on a waffle iron (similar to this one: DISNEY MICKEY MOUSE NON STICK ELECTRIC WAFFLE MAKER RED AND BLACK) and couldn't pass it up. The kids loved their Mickey Mouse waffles!

The kids colored their own puzzles (found at Target in the Dollar Spot).
The kids asked to wash the windows one afternoon. I was not about to let that opportunity pass me up!
The kids loved "Pete The Cat" Day! Read more here: http://ashlen-kidspert.blogspot.com/2015/02/pete-cat-day.html)
Play Doh + a bucket of dinosaurs = 2 afternoons of fun and entertainment! The kids particularly loved making dino prints in the Play Doh.
Apparently Harrison thought it was a good idea to write his initials on the back of the couch in marker. At least we'll be getting new furniture soon.
A game of Ring Around the Rosie. Not surprising, their favorite part is when they all fall down.
The kids colored paper people cut outs (similar to theses:Multicultural Person - Small Cut-Outs or you can find them at Michael's for $1.99 per pack).
Max has been experimenting with his signature. He's been coming home with his paper's signed all different ways. So far, Maxwellie, is my favorite.

The kids set Sophia up with a book in the reading corner since she was already laying on one of their reading cushions.
We ended our week with a very laid back day. We ordered pizza, watched "Big Hero 6" twice, rested, and read several St. Patrick's Day books.

Next week I really hope the kids are back to "normal." We'll be beginning our St. Patrick's Day, Easter, and Spring time crafts and activities. Even though the weather may not be quite like spring yet, we're diving right in to the activities with hopes that spring won't be too far behind us!
