My boys were obsessed with the movie "Cars" (and "Cars 2") and collected all of the character cars from the movies. They're rarely played with anymore, but refused to be handed down to younger cousins. So I put them to use in our newest sensory sandbox: "Cars."
I cleared the sand away for the raceway. The raceway got destroyed pretty quickly because the kids loved rolling the cars through the sand more than racing them. They've also enjoyed burying them in the sand and finding them (kind of like their Digging For "Gold" game).
