We LOVE Our Weekends

Another busy weekend filled with birthday parties, errand running, Easter celebrations, playing outside, furniture shopping, El Rodeo, and a rainy Sunday afternoon:

We went to a cousin's birthday party at Teddy Bear Connection Saturday morning after errand running. The kids got to make little stuffed animals and my sister in law had the cutest picnic lunch set up. The kids had a great time and want to go back to make more animals.
So proud of my little big guy Harrison. He didn't like the loud noise of the stuffing machine, but despite his fear, he bravely went up and stepped on the pedal and made his doggie.

The cute picnic lunch.
We finally got to celebrate Easter with Grandma and Grandpa Harmeyer and Aunt Jenny. Everyone was sick Easter weekend so we had to wait until everyone was at least semi-better. The kids got to do an outdoor/indoor egg hunt, open Easter baskets, play in the backyard, eat grilled chicken, and play their favorite hide n' seek.

Digging in the yard at Grandma and Grandpa's. This explains why they attempt to dig in the middle of our backyard!

Max's new hiding place.
Little bit of relaxing on the deck.

Sunday morning was off to late start thanks to 3 of the 5 of us sleeping in. The 3 of us would be daddy, mommy, and Elizabeth. "Despicable Me 2" kept the other 2 entertained while I dozed on the couch. We then took a walk around the neighborhood to get some exercise before the afternoon rain hit. I love our neighbor's magnolia trees.
The boys showing off their new shoes.

Elizabeth eating her lunch like a dog.....I had no idea how to react when she started doing this in the middle of the crowded restaurant!
Furniture shopping with 3 kids was......interesting. Thank god the kids all had on new shoes since they went a bit crazy sitting on couches and chairs at Homemaker's.

We ended our weekend by throwing bread for the birds. That's exciting stuff when you're 3!

In between our fun and busy times, I spent my time getting things ready for the week ahead. Next weekend we'll be hitting up the first downtown farmer's market of the season and hopefully getting around to doing something on our To Do List. The kids are ecstatic for our first hike of the season one of these days.
