ABC Scavenger Hunt

Thankfully I still have some tricks up my sleeve to keep the kids busy, entertained, and their minds going. Last week we painted rocks, but we didn't need to keep all of them for ourselves. We decided today was the day to put them along the bike trail as we walked to bring a bit of happiness to others.

To add a little more to the walk along the bike trail, we added exploring in nature and a scavenger hunt to the list too. I had the kids take their phone and take pictures of the things they found. They had to find something that began with each letter of the alphabet along our mile long walk. Here is what they found on our ABC Scavenger Hunt:

A - eaten APPLE and ANT HILL

B - BEAR in the window

C - CREEK

D - DEN, DEAD end, and DUCKS

E - ELIZABETH

F - FIRE HYDRANT

G - GRASS

H - HAWK (in the tree)

I - ICKY dog poop

J - JERIAH (daycare child)

K - "I am KING!" - Max, while they played "King of the Sewer Drain."

L - LEAF and LITTLE HOUSE

M - MOSS, MUD, and MAILBOX

N - NEST

O - ORANGE on the road block sign

P - PUDDLE

Q - didn't find one, but it was suggested from the middle mini that I take a picture of myself because I am queen. I really can't argue with that.

R - ROCKS

S - STOP SIGN

T - TREE

U - walking UNDER the bridge

V - VINES

W - WATERFALL and WOOD

X - the tree branches make the letter X

Y - YELLOW houses

Z - "ZERO things in nature start with Z" - Max
