Do you ever simply sit back and watch your kids play? This is actually one of my favorite things as a parent and as a daycare provider. I particularly love setting up toys, games, activities, etc. and sitting back and taking in how they play, what they say to each other, their own games they make up. It's a great way to get a feel for how they view life. I love the simplicity in which kids can play and how they can relate to the world around them through play.
This afternoon, the kids thought I was "on my phone" and instead, I spent a half hour taking pictures of the kids playing with each other. It really is the simple things in life.
And at this point, the pictures stopped because I had to intervene. Mom life.
