Above is my oldest mini's homeschool work space. "That's a sh*t ton of candy wrappers!" you're likely saying as you take a gander at the photo. I had the same thought the first time I took in the view. Then I had a laugh about it all. You see, earlier in the day, he came up to me and asked if he could open his chocolate eggs.
"I'm probably going to eat half of the bag," he warned me, studying my face to see what emotion I would display when he said that. I don't exactly approve of tons of candy in our house and they rarely eat candy, so I registered the initial surprise on his face when I shrugged my shoulders regarding his statement.
What I didn't know at that time was just how much other candy he had eaten without mentioning it to me. I still don't necessarily care about all of the candy because as I said above, it's not an everyday thing. I find it silly that he asked about eating one kind of candy and not the others. I wish I could understand kid, or in this case, young teenager logic.
