Easter

It's more than three months later, but we had a great Easter season. There were family celebrations, egg hunts, one glow in the dark egg hunt event (that turned into a family affair when I needed help), an Easter basket hunt, sugar, and treats. Lots of treats.

Daycare celebrated first with Cool Whip dyed Easter eggs, Peeps s'mores, the favorite Easter egg lunch (where I put their lunch food into eggs they have to open; they love the surprises!), Peeps play dough, bunny cake, and their own egg hunt.

I had the idea to do a fundraising egg hunt event at the event. What went down was two hours of extreme awesomeness with a side of crazy. 500+ people through the door to enjoy a glowtastic egg hunt. All in all, it was a success. Luckily, I brought the minis and Hubs along to help out because we needed all of the extra hands we could manage!

My three aren't exactly thrilled about egg hunts anymore. They did one at grandma and grandpa's house, but on Easter morning they did a scavenger hunt to find their baskets. I had just as much fun creating the egg hunt as they did finding their baskets (in the washer and dryer). This might be one that sticks around for a few years!

Our Easter Basket scavenger hunt was a hit! The minis weren't thrilled about an egg hunt, but still wanted to do something fun, so I created a scavenger hunt. Each clue led to a new clue which eventually led them to their baskets...hiding in the washer and dryer.

Their scavenger hunt took them inside, outside, front yard, backyard, upstairs, to the basement, and everywhere in between.
