We had a low key Independence Day. We celebrated at daycare with typical cookout food and sparklers. We checked out fireworks from a parking garage, away from crowds, while I enjoyed a drink and the kids had freeze dried candy. It was somehow extremely magical and fun in a way that the minis have asked for a repeat in 2024. Paddle boarding at the lake made up our morning, then we got together with family on the 4th for a cookout and giant water slide.
The day after the 4th, the minis and I did our annual Mom and Minis Shopping Day. They spent their birthday money and plenty of treats.
