If you're a mommy to be or a new mommy, chances are you've at least heard of a Rock N' Play such as this: Fisher-Price My Little Snugapuppy Deluxe Newborn Rock N Play Sleeper. I've used one for three babies (my youngest and two daycare babies) and it is one of my favorite baby gear items. A definite must have for all parents of infants.
The Rock N Play cradles babies, making them cozy and secure. It keeps them warm with the cradling sides, but the breathable fabric keeps them from overheating. Babies have a harder time adjusting body temperature, so this was a huge deal for me and my sweaty babies. This is also the perfect piece of baby gear for babies with reflux or ear, nose, and throat issues. It keeps them slightly upright, making sleep easier and more relaxing. My youngest had issues with recurring ear infections and slept in her Rock N' Play (Fisher-Price Newborn Rock n' Play Sleeper, Yellow) until she was seven months old. It was a lifesaver!
I can't say enough good things about this simple baby gear must have. Given my personal experience with one and the raving I hear my parent friends do about their's, move this product to the top of your registries (or head to the store asap to pick one up).
